• Can anyone help with java? Finding common nodes from two linked lists using recursion

  I have to write a method that returns a linked list with all the nodes that are common to two linked lists using recursion, without loops. For example, first list is 2 - 5 - 7 - 10 second list is 2 - 4 - 8 - 10 the list that would be returned is 2 - 10 I am getting nowhere with this.. What I have been think of was to check each value of the first list with each value of the second list recursively but the second list would then be cut by one node everytime and I cannot compare the next value in the first list with the the second list. I hope this makes sense... Can anyone help?

• Binding hudson build number in C# project

  Hi, Is there a way to bind the hudson successful build's number in the C# WPF application? Meaning, on running the exe after building I want to show the build number say 10 in my application somewhere. In project configuration file, I have used ${BUILD_NUMBER}, that a hudson understands and creates a build with the revision number. If I build the Project revision # 10, I get 10.exe. Can I have something that will show this number somewhere in my application? Hope I am clear. Please help.

  I store backups of databases in a directory structure year/month/day/time/backup_name an example would be basics_mini/2012/11/05/012232/RATIONAL.0.db2inst1.NODE0000.20110505004037.001 basics_mini/2012/11/06/012251/RATIONAL.0.db2inst1.NODE0000.20110505003930.001 note that timestamp from the backup file cannot be used. Before the automation testing starts the server time is set to 5.5.2011 So the question is how I can get the latest file if I pass the "base directory" (basics_mini) to some function that I am going to code. My thoughts are that I list the base directory and sort by time to get the year. Then I do the same for month, day and time. I wonder if there is any "easier" solution to that in php.

I am trying to create a patterne (or variable patterns based on selection) based on x and y numbers (2 rows and 4 columns) and the direction of the counting of x numbers like: 1-2-3-4 5-6-7-8 That one is easy, when number of x-columns is reached, next line and continue x count. • vb.net session variable passing "space" from one page to another

  i have 2 aspx webpages with vb.net code. On the first page, I have a text box, on first page that says "Enter Hobby", but its not a required textbox. So if the user clicks submit, it'll load up the second page. Now in the second page i have textbox "hobby" which has maxlength = 10. and in the vb.net code i have hobby.text = session("hobby"). if the user doesnt fill up hobby in first page, the session comes with 10 "spaces" since maxlength is 10. I tried hobby.text = TRIM(session("hobby"), but nothing happens. Any idea how i can lose the spaces if nothing is inputted?

  I've a database used to store items and properties about these items. The number of properties is extensible, thus there is a join table to store each property associated to an item value. CREATE TABLE `item_property` ( `property_id` int(11) NOT NULL, `item_id` int(11) NOT NULL, `value` double NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`property_id`,`item_id`), KEY `item_id` (`item_id`) ) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci; This database has two goals : storing (which has first priority and has to be very quick, I would like to perform many inserts (hundreds) in few seconds), retrieving data (selects using item_id and property_id) (this is a second priority, it can be slower but not too much because this would ruin my usage of the DB). Currently this table hosts 1.6 billions entries and a simple count can take up to 2 minutes... Inserting isn't fast enough to be usable. I'm using Zend_Db to access my data and would really be happy if you don't suggest me to develop any php side part. Thanks for your advices !

  Assume the following C variable decleration int *A[10] , B[10][10]; Of the following expressions A[2] A[2][3] B[1] B[2][3] which will not give compile time errors if used as left hand sides of assignment statements in a C program. A) 1,2 and 4 only B) 2,3, and 4 only C) 2 and 4 only D) 4 only I have tried this on a gcc compiler.I assigned the value '0' to all the above variables.Only the third one showed an error.I can't really understand the reason.Can someone please expalin why that is.?   Hi,I have been stuck on this issue for quite some time now.Have read the documentation and many tutorials and they just confuse me more.I hope someone will provide me a straightforward answer.It's really important.Thank you.. Ok ..so i want an activity to get some input from the user as and then send that string to a service.Then i want my service to run in a way so that i can use other applications while this one keeps running in the background.Also i don't want the service to keep running every second.What i want is for the service to get updated location of my current position every 10 minutes so i was thinkin if there could be a way to make my service to go to sleep n wake up evry 10 mins n check for updates.I don't want to show the update on the UI so i dont think i need to use an AIDL approach and also dont need to bind to the service.I js simply want to start the service as soon as the user enters the string and keep the service runing every 10 mins.I think it is really simple but m very confused.Please help.

  Hi, In my web application, I use strust2 url tag to pass parameters like id etc., For example, I use a link to delete an entity and I use param to pass the id of the entity to be deleted. And I follow this throughout my web app for adding, editing, deleting an entity. During run time, sometimes, I don't get the params to be stored in my action's bean properties. When I see the link that is generated, I get something like <a href='/projit1/p/discuss/viewDiscussion.action?d=11&amp;amp;amp;projid=11&amp;amp;disid=4'> What are these amps for ? why do they sit in between the action calls (made by link via url tag actions ) ? By the time I traverse back and forth in my web app, I get 10s and 20s of amp sitting in the request URL. What is the problem here ? Please help.

  I'm making a little bot in C#. At the moment it works pretty well, it can load text from a file and type it for you. But for now, I need to manualy click the textfield to put the focus on it, remaximize my form and then click the Type-button. After the typing, I need to manualy slide the scorebar and press submit. I'd like to know how I can move my mouse with C# and if possible, if possible I'd like to load the mouse positions from a xml-file.   How can I create a plot title in ggplot2? Am I making a silly syntax error? The ggplot2 docs indicate that labs(title = 'foo') should work, but I can only get the arguments x='foo' and y='foo' to work with labs(). Neither ggtitle() nor title() worked either.   Is there a way to fix the position of the columns in a domain? The span_col attribute in the first 'BANNER_TEXT' sequence indicates which elements by position in the 2nd sequence are related. An example: 'Years in Practice' would be the first key and the attribute SPAN_COL=3 for that element indicates it would contain '< 11 years', '11-20 years', '21-30 years' (the first grouping of string.empty = Total would be skipped).
